I'm just another kid from a suburban town who has nothing to give but knows there's more to be found. This life's worth living I know it is. Maybe one day I'll find some meaning in this.
But for now I'll stick with what I've got. These words; I know they're not a lot. And they don't mean much to anyone but me. Maybe one day they'll set me free.
In the town I grew up in everyone was a douche. I said to them, "I'll never be like you". I'll drive around and egg the houses they lived in. Even though they're gone they are far from forgiven.
I'm bound here by this chain. A worthless common name. At least I know that we are not the same.
Every day I would say to myself that I won't end up like them. Because I know that everything I do won't leave me feeling cold and empty at the end.
